Technical and scientific expertise

The profession of health, safety and environment consultant requires considerable technical and scientific knowledge. Apart from the legal staff, draftsmen and administrative staff, all of whom are essential, most of the staff working for AGECO are university graduates or holders of an equivalent diploma (civil engineers, mining engineers, geological engineers, structural engineers, hydro-geologists, bio-engineers, chemical engineers, biologists, town planners, architects, sales engineers, quantity surveyors, etc.), most of whom have undertaken additional training to provide them with a transverse understanding of the duties for which they are appointed.

These qualified staff enable us to offer you a wide range of technical skills:

  • Expertise in companies' equipment: analysis of the compliance of storage tanks, study of the operation of waste water treatment plants, dimensioning of an air treatment system, etc.
  • Expertise in technical services and results: carrying out and/or critical monitoring of technical services: counting of traffic flows and parking surveys, drilling and penetration tests, hydrostatic pressure measurement installations, noise and vibration measurements, waterproofing tests, air quality and odour measurements, laboratory analyses, site supervision, etc.
  • Expertise in computer software: modelling of pollution dispersion (atmospheric, liquid, etc.), modelling of risk(s) (risks in connection with safety, risks in connection with ground, sub-soil or water table pollution, risks in connection with the dispersion of pollutants into the atmosphere), integral environment management software (ISO 14001, etc.), modelling of traffic, drawing software, spreadsheets, databases, GIS, etc.
